A source within the Ismaili club has confirmed that the team’s management has agreed on the departure of Hamad Ibrahim, the team’s coach, due to the team’s continued negative results.

The source told Masrawy that Hamad had his best chance and an international break, but the team’s shaky performance and poor results continued.

The source said that the board put 6 names of coaches on the table to choose from, and they were distributed as follows: Hamza El-Gamal, Sébastien Desabre, the former coach of the team and the national team from Uganda, Ahmed Sami, coach of Smouha, Shawky Gharib, Hossam Hassan and Mokhtar Mokhtar.

He continued: “The closest to taking over the task is Hamza El-Gamal, as he is one of the sons of the club, in addition to Desabre, with whom the board has opened lines of communication to negotiate to form the team.”

Hamad Ibrahim was not present for the team’s training today, given the preparations for Al-Masry’s next match, scheduled for next Friday.

Al-Ismaili lost to Enppi by a score of (20), then to Tala’a El-Gaish yesterday Saturday by a score of (10) in the accounts of the seventeenth week of the Egyptian competition We League.

Hamad Ibrahim took over as Ismaili manager, succeeding Argentinean Juan Brown, who was also sacked due to poor results.

Hamad Ibrahim only won twice at the expense of Al Ittihad of Alexandria (21), then Eastern Company (20).

Al-Ismaili is in the danger zone sitting in sixteenth place with 11 points from 16 matches, where the yellow team has a postponed game with Al-Masry Al-Borsaidi.
